When Will Treadstone Season 2 Premiere on USA Network?
‘Treadstone’, developed as a prequel to the ‘Bourne’ film franchise, is an action drama tv show, created by Tim Kring, who is also one of the executive producers. The spy series airs on USA Network and narrates the genesis of the covert CIA operation which creates recruits with nearly superhuman strengths. Spanning several decades, the events of ‘Treadstone’ takes us across the globe, from D.C. to Berlin and several other locations.

Treadstone Cast: Who is in it?
Jeremy Irvine stars as J. Randolph Bentley, a spy who is sent by the CIA to locate and eliminate a key target but instead, he gets entangled in an international conspiracy. Irvine’s notable acting credits include playing the lead role opposite Lily James in ‘Mamma Mia 2′ and performances in ‘War Horse’, ‘Fallen’, and ‘Great Expectations’.
Brian J. Smith from ‘Sense8‘ fame plays Doug McKenna, an oil-rig worker from America whose life is turned upside down after he unravels some long-concealed secrets about his own life. Omar Metwally enacts the character of Matt Edwards, the overly qualified CIA agent, specializing in stealth missions. Metwally is best known for his portrayals of Dr. Vik Ullah in ‘The Affair’ and Santiago in ‘Mr. Robot‘.
Tv and film actress Hyo Joo Han stars as SoYun, a wife and a mother who unravels the secrets from her past and must learn how to make choices that would not disrupt her peaceful family life in North Korea. Ranked among the top stars in Asia, Joo Han embarked into the acting scene by landing a major role in the Korean series, ‘Nonstop’. Her additional projects comprise ‘Spring Waltz’, ‘Heaven and Earth’, and ‘Iljimae’.
Tracy Ifeachor plays Tara Coleman, an investigative journalist who leaves her career behind after coming face to face with a life-changing secret. But Tara has to let go of her past in order to unearth a dangerous global conspiracy. Ifeachor has previously performed in ‘Legends of Tomorrow‘, ‘Quantico’, and ‘The Originals‘. Gabrielle Scharnitzky plays Petra, a strong, patriotic Russian citizen who has no time for nonsense. Petra is a vital resource because she has deep knowledge about Russian strategies — a quality that comes handy when she is betrayed.
Emilia Schüle plays a Russian KGB agent who goes to any lengths in order to further the plans of her home country. Michelle Forbes portrays Ellen Becker, a long-term and smart agent with the CIA, attempting to maintain her work-life balance while trying to get to the bottom of an international conspiracy. Emmy-nominee Forbes is widely recognized for her roles in ‘True Blood‘ and ‘Mockingjay: Part 2’ from the ‘Hunger Games‘ franchise.
When season 2 is announced, all the actors are expected to reprise their original roles.
Treadstone Plot: What is it about?
‘Treadstone’ traces the origins of the CIA’s Operation: Treadstone, which finally leads to the creation of Jason Bourne. If you have read the Bourne novels by Robert Ludlum and watched the successful movie series based on the books, you might know that Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is an unstoppable soldier suffering from amnesia.
